Hand-blown glass – what you need to know.

Hand-blown glass is lighter and clearer than pressed. That matters for floating holders – you want the glass to disappear in water, not compete with the light.

We use soda lime glass for most floating holders – it's cost-effective and works well for standard sizes. For smaller or thinner pieces, we offer borosilicate glass – it's clearer and handles temperature changes better.

One thing to expect with hand-blown: slight variation piece to piece. Small bubbles, fine lines – that's part of hand-blown character, not a defect. We control the opening diameter within a range that fits standard 3-inch floating candles. Too tight? The candle won't float freely. Too loose? It tips. We've run enough to know the range.

We'll show you the tolerance and acceptable surface marks before production. You approve, we run.

Finish options: clear, frosted, or spray color – send a reference, we'll match.

Packaging – two scenarios:

· Full container: 5-layer corrugated boxes.
· LCL or air freight: custom foam inserts + double-wall carton. Extra cushioning for spheres.
