Pressed glass – why it matters for tapers.

Hand-blown glass is nice for some things. Taper holders aren't one of them. Hand-blown varies slightly in size – your taper candle might not fit exactly. Some buyers literally melt the candle bottom and press it in. That's not a solution – that's a workaround.

Pressed glass uses molds. Every piece holds a 7/8" (22mm) candle. No wobble, no shaving, no tape hacks.

Surface finish options: clear, spray color, electroplating, or sandblasting – send a reference photo, we'll match it.

Packaging: tall holders need different protection than short ones. Top and bottom foam trays + double-wall carton. Full container gets 5-layer boxes.

Do these fit standard taper candles?

Yes. 7/8" (22mm) diameter. Standard fit.

Will they tip over?

Wide base + added weight at the bottom. If you're going very tall (over 8 inches), we can show you the center-of-gravity data before you commit.

Sample vs bulk – same fit?

Pressed glass uses molds. The sample and bulk run come from the same tooling. Wall thickness, diameter, and height are held to ±0.3mm. Minor surface variations (tiny bubbles, slight mold lines) are normal in pressed glass – we show you the acceptable range before bulk starts.

How do you pack tall holders?

Top and bottom foam trays lock each piece in place – not just side padding. Double-wall carton. Full container: 5-layer boxes. Damage rate below 0.5%. If it breaks on arrival, we replace – no argument.
